What is gotu kola?
Gotu kola (Centella asiatica) is a small creeping plant from the wetlands of Asia, not to be confused with African kola: it contains no caffeine. In Ayurveda, where it is called brahmi or mandukaparni, it is one of the great plants of the mind. Elephants, famous for their memory, are said to love it.
What tradition says
- The plant of memory and focus, used by students and yogis;
- traditionally associated with mental calm: serene focus, without stimulation;
- also traditionally used for circulatory comfort.
Dosage and use
Our extract is taken as drops diluted in a glass of water, 1 to 2 times a day, at any time: gotu kola does not disturb sleep. A course of at least 3 weeks. See the label for the precise dosage.
Our organic gotu kola, grown in Brittany
This tropical plant now also grows in Finistère: our partners grow it organically, and we extract it fresh in our Quimper laboratory. A first with such a short supply chain.
